Our client is a UK based, PE backed, multi-sited business with an employee base of 10,000+. The business has expanded quickly in recent years with continuing focus on growth both organically and by acquisition. They are seeking to recruit a talented and proven Resourcing Manager to lead the UK resourcing team, deliver the talent acquisition strategy and ensure day to day operational recruitment delivery within a high volume, compliance driven, environment.
This ambitious group seeks a proven people and operations leader from the recruitment industry (agency / consultancy) or from within another sizeable inhouse resourcing environment. Experience of high volume “blue collar” recruitment would also be beneficial. This high-profile remit will need to be based from their London Head Office approximately twice a week and will require significant UK travel due to the multi-site nature of the business. There is therefore flexibility on the home location of the successful candidate.
Reporting to the Group HR Director, the Head of Resourcing/Resourcing Manager will be responsible for the leadership, engagement, motivation and performance of a team of nationally based Recruiters to deliver critical volume monthly hires. Ensuring key partnerships with senior stakeholders are created and developed, will provide you with the collaboration required to make this role a success. As a champion for operational excellence in resourcing processes, procedures and practices you will drive continuous improvement of the function maximising talent attraction with the introduction of new talent attraction methods being maximised to ensure a contemporary approach to the candidate market.
In addition, you will ideally have gained experience of working with and managing a neutral vendor contract ensuring the supplier is providing the correct level of service at agreed costs with all KPI’s/targets being achieved.
The UK Head of Resourcing/Resourcing Manager will be a key member of the HR Leadership team being the recruitment Centre of Expertise contributing to wider HR initiatives to ensure a recruitment perspective is added to key projects.
