We are working on behalf of a global, diverse manufacturing group, which supplies its leading electro-mechanical products into sectors such as aerospace and defence. They are well positioned for further accelerated growth and are seeking to recruit an experienced Integration & Test Associate Manager to be based at their Sussex site.

They will also possess a Mechanical Engineering Degree or similar and extensive proven experience of product development testing, having managed a Test and Integration development environment, whilst developing the team, scheduling test programmes, diagnosis of faults and managing environmental testing ie temperature, humidity and vibration.

These skills will have been gained in complex engineering manufacturing environments; ideally within aerospace / defence and knowledge of automated test cell design, high pressure pneumatics, electronic design and LabVIEW software would be a distinct advantage.

Strong IT skills, attention to detail, methodical approach and ability to work both autonomously and as part of a dedicated team are a given; as is a good understanding of test system design and implementation, product lifecycle, sensors and laboratory test equipment such as multimeters, verniers.

This varied and challenging role will include managing the integration and testing of all components, sub systems and systems ensuring electrical and physical compatibility to meet program technical, schedule and cost objectives, managing the test and/or integration of electro-mechanical systems from the system design phase through development, documentation, installation and commissioning of the completed system, ensuring work is scheduled and resourced through internal and external test facilities to meet the competing priorities of concurrent programmes, developing and implementing hardware and software system level test programs, plans, specifications, procedures and customer acceptance and developing test facilities, test methods, data capture and analysis.
