Our client is a private equity backed, multi-site service provider, with a current employee base of circa 1,000 people with ambitious further expansion plans; both organically and via acquisition. Fundamental to the successful operation of this organisation is the management and development of their existing (£100m) and future property portfolio.

They are therefore seeking to appoint a commercially driven RICS Qualified Property Expert, who has significant experience of managing/developing a real estate function including the simultaneous management of significant £multi-million construction & refurbishment projects from design, tender to completion ensuring efficient and legally compliant delivery. This challenging role will also take responsibility for a CAPEX budget for the maintenance, refurbishment and improvement of existing properties combined with project reporting to the business for status against financial targets, timelines, project approvals, construction and quality objectives.

This is a recently formed business with a focus on growth, thereby engendering a fast pace of operation. You will have already gained experience in a demanding, multi-site environment, possess a ‘hands on, sleeves rolled up, let’s get it done’ attitude, be very organised with strong attention to detail and professional qualifications such as RICS, CIOB, APM, will be required.

This highly visible role offers the opportunity to progress as the business undertakes accelerated growth and therefore requires a talented Head of Estates / Acquisitions, who has the ability to create, develop and define strategy whilst also enjoying being immersed in the day to day operational aspects within this dynamic business.

A flexibility and ability to undertake regular weekly travel will also be required; key current locations include London, South East, Eastern Home Counties and South Wales with a plan to develop a Group Head Office function within the M4/M40 corridor. Therefore, the successful candidate should ideally live within this area; albeit the plans are in place for nationwide growth.
